Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai
Director Vetrimaaran astounded the fans last year by introducing Soori as a lead actor in, ‘Viduthalai Part 1’, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi. He has been working on the film’s sequel ever since. This duology is one of the most extended projects he ever worked on.
At the International Film Festival Rotterdam, both movie segments are scheduled to be screened on January 31 and February 3. Last night, Viduthalai Parts 1 & 2 received a thunderous standing ovation at IFFR. ‘Viduthalai’ is a joint production of RS Infotainment, Grassroot Film Company and Red Giant Movies. The film has music by Ilaiyaraaja, DOP by Velraj and editing by Ramar. Meanwhile, Soori attended the film premiere in Rotterdam. He shared clicks from the film festival on X, which are going viral now.
