Oppenheimer and Poor Things took home the most trophies at the BAFTA Awards. Still, despite receiving multiple nominations in various categories, films like Maestro and Killers of the Flower Moon were left without any wins. These ten movies received numerous nominations but did not win any awards.

1. Maestro
The masterpiece lost most of its awards to Oppenheimer.
Bradley Cooper’s Maestro, despite being critically acclaimed, missed its chances at BAFTA 2024. The film had seven nominations at the ceremony.

2. Killers Of The Flower Moon
With 11 nominations at the BAFTAs, the movie could not pick up a single award. Despite that, he impressed many audiences with his acting skills in the film Killers Of The Flower Moon.

3. Barbie
The greatest summer blockbuster, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, could not take home any prizes on Sunday night. The film had five nominations at the ceremony but lost most of them to Oppenheimer and Poor Things. The movie may still benefit from the wins even though Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie are excluded from the Oscar race.

The film deserved more credit.
Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal told a moving tale that the audience adored. To their dismay, Andrew Haigh’s movie could not take the stage to accept any awards, despite the fans’ expectations that it would win at least one BAFTA.

5. Saltburn
While Saltburn got a special mention at one of its performances at the BAFTAs, it could not win any awards at the show. While having five nominations across the categories, the 2023 film lost its awards to the significant two on Sunday night.

There were some outstanding performances in the 1985 film The Color Purple, which was adapted. Despite being highly praised by viewers, the movie was not included in the BAFTA 2024 winners list. This year, the film received two nominations.
