Kalki 2898 AD Box Office: May Strike 1000 Cr Soon

Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone, is experiencing a phenomenal run at both domestic and global box offices. Just nine days post-release, this sci-fi epic directed by Nag Ashwin has raked in approximately ₹432 crore at the Indian box office.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film has achieved significant financial success, amassing ₹432.1 crore in its initial nine days in theaters. Despite a 22.99% drop in collections on its ninth day, earning ₹17.25 crore on that Friday, the film continues to perform robustly.

Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed on social media that Kalki 2898 AD has crossed the ₹800 crore mark worldwide. This includes a remarkable ₹677+ crore in just the first eight days. With ₹494+ crore from India and ₹183 crore from overseas markets. On its ninth day, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s film maintained its impressive streak, contributing significantly to the global box office tally. This global success underscores the film’s widespread appeal and its ability to draw audiences across various regions.

Regional Performance and Hindi Market Impact

The Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD has contributed ₹9.35 crore to its total earnings. While the Telugu version added ₹6 crore. The Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions collectively brought in ₹1 crore, ₹70 lakh, and ₹20 lakh, respectively.

The film is on track to surpass Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter as the top Hindi release of 2024. Which also stars Deepika Padukone in a supporting role. Currently, Kalki 2898 AD stands as the second-biggest Hindi release of the year. Highlighting Prabhas’ extensive pan-India appeal and the film’s widespread acceptance.
