In an interview with News 18 Showsha, Vikrant praised Taapsee for being one of the first colleagues to visit and bless his son. He described her gesture as “truly special,” noting that she drove to his home on a Sunday to meet Vardaan. Vikrant expressed his gratitude, saying, “That was really wonderful.”

She mentioned that she was busy shooting for her film Khel Khel Mein in London when 12th Fail was released, so she watched it some time after its release. Upon returning to India, she heard great things about the film’s collections and sent Vikrant a message telling him that his success felt “personal” to her.
