As of its fifth day, the film has garnered an impressive Rs 78.95 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Consistent Performance on a Weekday

Despite being a working Tuesday, “Deadpool and Wolverine” managed to secure Rs 6.25 crore, showing only a slight dip from Monday’s Rs 7 crore. The film’s night shows saw nearly 20 per cent occupancy, reflecting its stronghold on the audience.

Among Top Hollywood Openings in India: “Deadpool and Wolverine” is set to achieve one of the top six opening week performances for a Hollywood film in India. It is currently ahead of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1”. Just behind “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” With nearly Rs 80 crore in five days, the film is poised to surpass the Rs 83.45 crore seven-day collection of “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” by Wednesday. It is expected to close its first week with over Rs 88 crore. Approaching the Rs 101.49 crore first-week collection of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

Surpassing Competitors

The film has already outperformed several notable releases, including “Chandu Champion,” “Srikanth,” and “Bad Newz.” It has earned nearly four times more than the Akshay Kumar-starrer “Sarfira.” This success highlights the film’s broad appeal and the strong fan base of the Marvel franchise in India.

Future Outlook

As “Deadpool and Wolverine” heads into its second weekend, it remains the top choice for multiplex audiences. Despite the release of two new Hindi films, Ajay Devgn-Tabu starrer “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha”. Jahvi Kapoor’s “Ulajh,” the Marvel film is expected to maintain its momentum. The movie is set to enjoy a comfortable run until August 15, when three new releases—“Stree 2,” “Khel Khel Mein,” and “Vedha”—will hit theaters.
