Deadpool and Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds Reveals Only Co-Star He Argued With!

Deadpool and Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds Reveals Only Co-Star He Argued With! Ryan Reynolds, known for his sharp wit and humour, recently shared a playful anecdote involving his 7-year-old daughter, Inez, on the set of his latest film, Deadpool and Wolverine. On August 1, Reynolds took to social media to humorously claim that Inez, who made a cameo as Kidpool, was the only co-star he ever argued with during the production.

Posting a movie still of himself as Deadpool facing off against Inez, Reynolds wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Only costar I argued with. Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also pretty good at backtalk and never taking out the trash. #DeadpoolAndWolverine.”

A Family Affair on the Big Screen

Deadpool and Wolverine, which premiered on July 26, turned out to be a true family project for Reynolds. His youngest son, Olin, appeared as Baby Pool, while his wife, Blake Lively, took on the role of Lady Deadpool. Lively shared on Instagram that Deadpool comic creator Rob Liefeld was inspired to create Lady Deadpool after seeing her on Gossip Girl in the 2000s.

The couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Betty, also had a role in the production, humorously credited in the movie’s credits as the “Hugh Jackman Wrangler.” Reynolds has previously mentioned Betty’s fondness for Hugh Jackman, who portrays Wolverine. During a joint interview with Jackman at the movie’s premiere, Reynolds said, “They’re all kind of in love with Uncle Hughy over here, so that worked out pretty well. He got attacked by Betty backstage, who thinks she has claws, so she goes at him. I have to actually give her a little tiny time-out.”

Reynolds’ Family Dynamics

Reynolds and Lively also share a 9-year-old daughter named James. While promoting the third Deadpool movie, Reynolds hinted that he and Lively are open to expanding their family. “The more the merrier,” he quipped to E! News in July. “As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!”

Deadpool and Wolverine: Reynolds’ humorous take on family life and his ability to involve his loved ones in his work adds a unique charm to his public persona. His playful banter about arguing with Inez on set not only highlights his comedic talent but also showcases the close-knit bond he shares with his family.
