Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa Day 3 Box Office Struggles Highlight Stree 2’s Dominance

Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa Day 3 Box Office Struggles Highlight Stree 2’s Dominance. The much-anticipated Independence Day releases, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, have turned out to be major disappointments at the box office. Despite featuring popular stars like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, both films have struggled to attract audiences, especially in the face of stiff competition from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2.

Khel Khel Mein: Day 3 Collections

Directed by Mudasaar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal. However, the film has not performed well at the box office. On its third day, Saturday, it managed to earn only Rs 2.55 crore net, bringing its three-day total to approximately Rs 9.40 crore net. Despite having the lowest opening among the three Hindi releases on Independence Day, Akshay Kumar starrer is currently leading Vedaa in terms of box office numbers.

Vedaa: Day 3 Collections

Vedaa, starring John Abraham, Sharvari, and Abhishek Banerjee, is also experiencing a downward trend at the box office. The action-drama, directed by Nikhil Advani, opened with Rs 6.25 crore on the National Holiday but has since struggled to maintain momentum. On its third day, Vedaa could only collect Rs 1.80 crore, even with the aid of a Buy-One-Get-One offer. This brings its three-day total to around Rs 9.55 crore.

Challenges and Future Prospects: The release of Stree 2 has undoubtedly impacted the box office performance of both Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. However, the clash with Stree 2 is not the sole reason for their underwhelming performance. Both films have faced challenges in attracting audiences due to ineffective promotional strategies and mixed word of mouth.

Despite the current struggles, there is still a window of opportunity for both films to recover, as there are no major Hindi cinema releases scheduled for the next six weeks. This period could provide the necessary breathing room for these films to gain some momentum and achieve more respectable numbers.

While the initial box office performance of Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa has been disappointing, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining their ultimate fate.
