Initial Release and Reception: Upon its initial release, Gangs of Wasseypur received widespread critical acclaim and was a commercial success. The film’s soundtrack, composed by Sneha Khanwalkar and Piyush Mishra. With lyrics by Mishra and Varun Grover, also contributed to its popularity. The film’s first part was released on June 22, 2012, followed by the second part on August 8, 2012.
A Star-Studded Ensemble
The film features an impressive cast, including Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
