Triptii Dimitri’s ‘Bad Newz’ which came in July of this year is currently trending on social media because of its sudden arrival on the OTT platform.
Bad Newz is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. The film is inspired by the true events and stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. It revolves around heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twins are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers.
The good news about this Bad newz is that it is now available to all Amazon Prime Video users, yet there is some bad news that one has to rent the movie to stream it on the platform. Those who missed it in theatres and are keen to watch it must spend Rs. 349 as a rental fee.
Bad Newz is the spiritual sequel to Good Newwz which is an Indian comedy film directed by Raj Mehta in his directorial debut and produced by Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and revolves around two couples’ tryst with in vitro fertilization.
Both the films were box office blockbusters and were well received by the audiences yet good newwz seems to have more fans than bad news because of the emotional elements in it. Bad Newz movie also features Neha Dhupia, Karan Aujla, and a cameo by Ananya Panday.
