A Grand Play-Like Scene
Known for his grand cinematic style, Rohit Shetty is currently shooting additional scenes at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle. These scenes feature a grand play set-up with characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), adding a folk element to the climax. A source revealed, “Rohit is shooting with the secondary cast and making last-minute additions to the climax. It involves a grand play-like scene and has many characters dressed as rakshasas, thus adding a folk-based twist to the proceedings.”
Ajay Devgn to Join the Shoot
Ajay Devgn, who plays the lead role of Bajirao Singham, is expected to join the shoot in the coming days. The production team has set up a large stage for an elaborate performance to form the climax’s centrepiece. On the first day of shooting, a crowd of about 500 people gathered at the Vile Parle set. The source added, “The scene needed a huge crowd. So, the production team included the people gathered in the scene. Filming is expected to continue until September 11.”
The Star-Studded Cast
Singham Again is the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav, and Ashutosh Rana also feature in this action-packed film.
The film was initially announced in September 2017 under the working title Singham 3, and the official title was revealed in December 2022. With the release date set for Diwali 2024, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Bajirao Singham.
