Rakul compares Bollywood and Tollywood and takes stand for this Industry

Rakul Preet Singh has been one of the most loved actresses in Tollywood for more than a decade. Starting her acting career in the South Indian Film Industry, Rakul has earned a special place in South Indian audience hearts. She has done the roles like the girl next door and career-oriented woman and also a fierce agent and grabbed all the attention at once. Later, due to the opportunity crisis, This actress had to go back to Bollywood to work. Rakul compares Bollywood and Tollywood and takes stand for this Industry.

Rakul compares Bollywood and Tollywood:

In a recent conversation, Rakul was asked about the difference between Bollywood and Tollywood as she worked in both Industries highlighting the Kalki 2898 AD success as a remarkable step of Tollywood. Rakul said, ‘ Not just Kalki, but when Bahubali was being made, everyone had a vision that this is going to be a global sensation and Tollywood will shine. But When I worked with Allu Arjun, my favourite person in a film ‘Sarrainodu’. He once told me, ‘ I want to take Telugu Film Industry at an international level. And today, Pushpa has reached global audience and Pushpa 2 is also making more buzz globally. So the actors there had a vision and the focus to do something big’.

She added, ‘ The one thing that I love about Tollywood is, The Unity among them. Earlier, even bollywood had the unity but during Amitabh Bachchan times, they used to successfully make multi starrer films. But now, This generation bollywood actors are so insecure. They are afraid of losing their fame if another popular star joins them on screen. There’s no unity, there’s only competition. That generation actors were very secure and united. But we cant see that in Bollywood now’

Rakul takes stand for this Industry:

And when the host tries to cover it and support bollywood saying, ‘Its not always the actors, The actors may be nice and chill but others will be saying alot of things, like advices and all which is why they get distracted’. and then Rakul took stand for Tollywood said, ‘This is a world, and everyone will say alot, You should be silly to absorb everything. As an actor, we are the product, Our action and words are going out, nobody knows who told me to do this and that, but what goes out is me. an actor should be conscious about what they are doing and should be responsible for their acts’.

She also said, ‘Tollywood still works on same old school one manager rule. They work with unity and that is why Tollywood is achieving what its got today. They dont feel insecure about multi starrer casting like Bahubali and RRR which took Tollywood to Global level.’ This showed Rakul’s support towards the Industry that gave her so much love even after switching to Bollywood.
