Soham Shah claimed that the squid game creator has copied the concept of his 2009 Luck movie starring Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, and Shruti Hassan. The plot revolves around a group of people who play deadly games to win the jackpot. Which strikes resemblance to the concept of squid games.

Plot of the Squid Game:

Squid Games became a popular Korean series that shook the OTT once with its interesting storyline. People loved the series for its thrilling and mysterious elements. In this series, a group of people joins to play a game unknown to its deadly rules to win money. However, they realize the danger when people keep dying playing games and each death results in an increase in the price of money. This series will keep the viewers on edge with its suspense.

Soham Shah Claims:

However, the Bollywood director Soham Shah claims that this was his idea and the creator of Squid Game has stolen it. He also mentions that in July 2009, the ‘Luck’ movie was released in India, the UK, the US, and the UAE theaters, and how Hwang Dong-Hyuk also stated that he wrote Squid Game that very year. After Netflix denied all the allegations, this case may result in a complex legal battle.
