Kangana lashes out amid emergency delay; accused this militant

Kangana’s upcoming movie Emergency is scheduled to release on 6th September this year. The movie is delayed as it was stuck with the censor board. The Sikh community has opposed the movie releases, assuming the community will be protrayed in a negative way.

Kangana Ranaut was talking at an event recently; she mentioned the issue her movie is facing. She expressed her anger because her movie is facing issues without any proper reason. Kangana emphasized that not everyone is against her film. She questioned those who were standing up for Bhindranwale and claimed firmly that he was a saint, not a terrorist.

Kangana Ranaut’s statement

She started by saying,”It is our history, which has been intentionally hidden. We are not told about this. Bhai logo ka zamaana nahi hai.”

“My film is ready to be released. It has received certification from the censor board. 4 historians supervised our films. We have the proper documents. There is nothing wrong with my film. But some people call Bhindranwale a saint, revolutionary, or leader. They threatened via pleas (to ban her film). I have also received threats. Previous governments have declared Khalistanis as terrorists. He was not a saint who was sitting in a temple with an AK47,” she contended.

accusing the Sikh community indirectly, she quoted, “Only some people have an objection to my film; they are also inciting others. I don’t think 99 percent of the people of Punjab consider Bhindranwale a saint. He is a terrorist, and if he is a terrorist, my film should be released.”

“Till when will we continue to play safe? I do not think like this. I never thought people will have an objection to Bhindranwale being shown as a terrorist. I am being tortured. It is so embarrassing for me. We also faced losses. My movie was cancelled just 4 days back,” she said.
