In a recent interview, the director of the film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Raaj Shaandilyaa revealed that Mallika Sherawat thought that she had been approached for another role in the film.

He expressed his joy as she effortlessly accepted the role in the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and offered insight into how the movie cast her. he said, “There was no need to convince her,” adding, “Woh aayi aur boli, ‘Ok, great character, let’s do it!'” (She came and said, “Ok, great character, let’s do it!”) He continued saying “Jab maine unko phone kiya, toh unko laga main dance karane ke liye bula raha hoon. Unhone pucha, ‘Kya hai? Kaunsa gaana hai?’ Main bola, ‘Gaana nahi hai, ek role hai.'” (When I called her, she thought I was inviting her for a dance number. She asked, ‘What is it? Which song?’ I said, ‘It’s not a song, it’s a role.’)
The actress was last seen in the film in the 2022 release RK/RKay and she is currently gearing up for her upcoming release Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Though the actress is not active in the movie. But she had a significant fan base which helps her to become active again in the industry.
