Rahi Anil Barve Is Not Exiting The Thumbad Sequel, Reveals Story Plans. Tumbbad 2: With the re-release of Tumbbad in theaters. Shah took to social media to announce the much-anticipated sequel, Tumbbad 2. In a teaser video shared on his Instagram, Shah hinted at the return of the sinister forces that plagued the first film. With the ominous tagline “Pralay Aayega” (Catastrophe will come). The teaser features a voiceover that suggests the cyclical nature of time and the inevitable return of past horrors, leaving fans eagerly speculating about the plot of the sequel. Now The director of Tumbbad reveals his plans for the upcoming sequel and When will the Tumbbad series end.

On Saturday evening Tumbbad director took Instagram handle to reveal his plans for his most anticipated sequel. The IG post read “For decades, I have worked on this insane trilogy with many producers changing in between. First was the greed of patriarchy (Tumbbad). My personal and much darker version of father, son and the holy ghost. The second deals with the dawn of feminism and holier than holy satipratha — Pahadpangira. Third, the end of this trilogy will be Pakshitirtha. That’s all I have to say for now.” Rahi Anil continued by adding “I wish Sohum and Aadesh all the best for Tumbbad II. I have no doubts it will be an outstanding success. Following the completion of Gulkanda Tales and Raktabhramand by the end of this year, I plan to start production on Pahadpangira in March 2025,” he added.
Sohumn and Adesh Reactions
After Rahi plans was revealed Sohum quickly responded and added a comment saying “Congratulations mere bhai for Gulkanda and Raktabrahmand or jaldi Sai shuru kar de pahadpangira. Maza aayega.” To which Rahi responded with “I am always there for you. Thanks for everything,” to which Sohum replied, “Likewise (flying kiss emoji).”
