Hellbound Season 2 : finally three years after its worldwide Ott premiere, dark fantasy K-Drama Hellbound is returning to Netflix with its much awaited second season.
Season 2 is a direct sequel of Hellbound , a dark fantasy television series directed by Yeon Sang-ho, based on his own webtoon of the same name. An original Netflix release set in the then future year of 2022, supernatural beings suddenly appear out of nowhere to condemn people to Hell.
Cast details
The cast of Hellbound season 2 includes Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyun-joo, Park Jeong-min, Won Jin-ah, Yang Ik-june, Lee Dong-hee , and Lee Re, who are reprising their role from season 1.
While Hong Eui-joon as Kim Sungjip, Moon So-ri as Senior Secretary Lee, and Moon Geun-young as Ms. Sunshine set to join the cast.
Plot
At the end of last episode, Chairman Jung Jinsu had vanished, Park Jungja had been resurrected, and Min Hyejin had escaped with baby Toughie, who had been sentenced to damnation.
In Season 2, the religious sects of New Truth, Arrowheads, and Sodo leader Hyejin must deal with the unexpected resurrection of the condemned. Returning from hell, Jeong Jin-soo discovers that the New Truth and Arrowhead have taken control of civilization.
However ,He quickly discovers that others have also been resurrected, raising the question of whether the resurrection is truly damnation or the means to salvation.

The much awaited Season 2 is set to release on giant Ott platform Netflix on October 25th, 2024.
Furthermore the series will also premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival the same month.
