Devara box office :  NTR’s perodic action drama shatterd all the box offfice records of indian cinema as it is reportedly earned more than 140 crores on first day.

NTR’s action drama film Devara Part 1 directed by Koratala Shiva has hit the screens on Friday.

Devara marks the return of Telugu icon Jr NTR as a solo hero, has received strong advance bookings in both India and abroad.

According to trade pundits, the picture is expected to earn above ₹140 crore on its first day, surpassing some of India’s most successful films in recent years.

According to trade analyst media Sacnilk, NTR’s action flick saw advance booking sales of 75 crore worldwide, one of the highest for any Indian film ever. This has meant that the film is set for a record-breaking  first day openings.

Early it was predicted the film’s domestic earnings at anywhere between 85-95 crore gross, which includes a massive 70 crore from Telugu speaking states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh alone.

Additionally, the film is expected to rake in over  40-45 crore outside India. All together Devara could earn 125 crore worldwide on its opening day.

Devara was released worldwide on 27 September 2024 in all formats to mixed reviews from critics and audience with praise for Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan’s performances, action sequences, cinematography and music, but criticized its script and writing in the second half.

The action flick was made with an estimated budget of Rs 300 crores and already earned more than Rs 140 crores worldwide.
