In a recent interview, Ananya was questioned whether she would accept the offer to play an item song in future, To which the Call Me Bae actress gave an exceptional answer showcasing her ethical values and self-worth. Ananya said, “There are ways to be s*xy but not to be s*xualized or objectified so there is a difference between that and it’s about switching the control to the girl instead of the man and vice-versa. The same thing happens with men also…you make them take their shirts off and they are also being objectified.”
Ananya Panday Reveals that there are a lot of ways to do an item song and she also mentioned her do’s and don’ts’. Ananya expresssed that the song is choosed based the value the character is getting. If the character is respected andhaving control over the environment she would do the item number. But if the character is not respected and if it was objectified then the actress would definitely nod to an item number.
