One of Bollywood’s most well-liked young actresses is Ananya Panday. The CTRL actress, despite her considerable fame, has said that she experiences imposter syndrome. She said she sometimes forgets it’s her on-screen when she sees herself in movies or on billboards.

Ananya Panday discussed her struggles with celebrity and fame in a recent interview. She disclosed, “My imposter syndrome comes from something as simple as when someone says my name. During interviews and stuff, I feel like my name isn’t really mine, and it makes me feel like a third person.” She continued by saying that it forces her to abruptly change into someone else.
The actress continued by saying that she doesn’t feel like she is staring at herself when she sees a billboard of herself. “The same thing happens when I watch one of my films. I watch them like an audience member and forget that it’s actually me on screen,” she further added.
The 25-year-old actress continued by saying that she constantly looks to others for approval, particularly on movie sets, and that she is quite hard on herself. Even though the director gave her the go-ahead, she claims that Ananya is never satisfied with her shot since she believes she could have done it better. The actress stated that she always finds room for improvement and that, given the option, she would re-shoot everything.
Ananya was also questioned about whether the severe criticism and abuse she experiences on social media contribute to her imposter syndrome. She responds that it varies depending on the day. She disclosed that while on some days she would start to think she might “suck” because someone on Instagram thought so, on other days she would choose to ignore anything bad that was stated about her.
