Vijay Deverakonda
Vijay Deverakonda made headlines in Kerala during the filming of yet to be titiled VD12, Vijay Deverakonda’s twelfth film.
It is reported that two elephants collided while filming action sequences with actors and elephants in the jungle of Boothathankettu. One of the elephants was injured and terrified, so it ran into the jungle.
Although the Kerala forest department sought to locate the injured animal, they were unsuccessful until Friday night, causing a temporary halt in the filming.
The incident occurred during an action sequence that involved unchaining five elephants to cross a road.
Vijay as Govardhan in The Family Star
Vijay was last seen in romantic action drama film, The Family Star written and directed by Parasuram, and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The romantic flick was released to negative reviews from critics, who heavily criticised Parasuram’s writing and direction, weak comedy, plot, predictability, soundtrack, and the lead cast’s performances.
The film was a box office bomb grossing ₹19.78–23.20 crore against budget of ₹50 crore and is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
After The Family Star commercial failure it looks like the Devarakonda is gearing up for a comeback with some exciting projects.

The upcoming action film is tentativly titiled as VD12 direected by jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri and is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on 28 March 2025 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.

The film’s ensemble cast includes Bhagyashri Borse, Vijay Deverakonda, Keshav Deepak, Rukmini Vasanth, Koushik Mahata , Sriram Reddy Polasane and Manikanta Varanasi.
VD 13
VD 13 marks Vijay first collaboration with actress Sai Pallavi and director Ravi Kiran Kola. This film is set to begin shooting in April 2025.

Vijay Devarakonda is reuniting with his Taxiwaala director Rahul Sankrityan for this film. The announcement poster sees an idol in the middle of parched land.
