Rhea Chakraborty has been facing so much of negativity for her affair with Mahesh Bhatt and the death of Sushant Singh Rajput for years. Now, The Delhi Police have summoned Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty. This also involves a lot of several other celebrities and influencers, for questioning in connection with an app-based scam involving nearly Rs 500 crore. The Hibox app was launched in February 2024. This attracted over 30,000 investors by promising daily returns of one to five per cent, amounting to 30% to 90% monthly returns to be precise. The app gained credibility through endorsements by the most influencial actors and influencers. Among those summoned for questioning are comedian Bharti Singh and YouTuber Elvish Yadav.

The scam came to light when users began reporting delays in payments starting in July 2024, citing technical difficulties and legal complications. The Delhi Police’s Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit launched an investigation, uncovering the extent of the fraud. The primary suspect, identified as Sivaram from Chennai, has been apprehended, and Rs 18 crore has been confiscated from his bank accounts.

Rhea Chakraborty and other celebrities are expected to appear at the cyber cell office in Dwarka on October 9, 20242. The police are keen to understand the extent of their involvement and whether they were aware of the fraudulent nature of the app.

This seems to have a connection with Ananya Panday’s movie ‘CTRL’. Like Suriya’s film 7th sense came true as a Global Pandemic, This film’s concept is also considered to be a serious thing to be aware of. This indicates the early thoughts of films are to be taken seriously and be mroe cautious of our actions.
