Ratan Tata co-produced Amitabh Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and John Abraham starrer

Ratan Tata : whole nation is mourning the death of the most beloved industrialists and legendary business tycoon Rata Tata.

Ratan Naval Tata, the 86 year old philanthropist died at a Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital late on Wednesday ,October 9, 2024.

It is reported that Tata was admitted to the Hospital in south Mumbai on October 7, 2024 owing to age-related issues, and to control his blood pressure.

Ratan N Tata reportedly co-produced a romantic psychological thriller Bollywood film Aetbaar directed by  Vikram Bhatt. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu acted in the lead roles.

He co-produced the film with producer Jatin Kumar and the film was inspired by Hollywood sensational film Fear under the banner of Tata BSS.

The romantic psychological thriller Aetbaar explored the dark realities of romantic obsession but the film failed to impress the audience at the box office.

He was awarded the the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second- highest civilian honour in 2008 and the Padma Bhushan, the third highest, in 2000 for his philanthropist works and contribution to the society.

Tata was a firm supporter of education, medicine and rural development, and considered a leading philanthropist in India. Tata supported University of New South Wales Faculty of Engineering to develop capacitive deionization to provide improved water for challenged areas.

He also launched India’s companionship startup, Goodfellows, in a bid to encourage intergenerational friendships between Senior citizens

According to a source Tata invested in over 30 start-ups, most in a personal capacity and some via his investment company.

Ratan N.Tata is the most followed industrialists on the social media platform X formally called as Twitter, he has 13.1 million Twitter followers.
