Korean drama 2024 : The much awaited periodic Korean dram The Story of Lady Ok starring Lim Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo, Yeonwoo and Kim Jae-won is all set for international debut.

Tale of Lady Ok plot
The Story of Lady Ok is set in Joseon period and follows the journey of a female slave , Ok Tae-young whose name, status, and even her husband were fake. Tae-young is a slave who becomes a legal expert. Even in difficult situations, she doesn’t hesitate to help people. However, she has a secret. Her secret is that her name, husband, and her status are all fake. She happens to meet Cheon Seung-hwi, a story-teller who travels all around the country, reciting novels to people.
The periodic drama’s is directed by Jin Hyuk from a story’s by Park Ji-sook starring Lim Ji-yeon, Choo Young-woo, Yeonwoo and Kim Jae-won in the lead roles.
Lim Ji Yeon was last seen in Netflix’s series The Glory gained international acclaim for her outstanding performance and won Best Supporting Actress trophy at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Tale of Lady Ok actors
Lim will appear in revenge film Revolver alongside actors Jeon Do-yeon and Ji Chang-wook. The movie is slated for August 2024 release. Lim is confirmed to lead a survival historical drama The Story of Lady Ok, seven years since The Royal Gambler.
JTBC confirmed that the series would premiere in the second half of 2024.The series was confirmed to broadcast on November 30, 2024, and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30.
