Jigra review: The blend of emotion and action

Satya, a young woman who has endured a difficult childhood, now only has one person left in her life, her brother Ankur, who is imprisoned and tortured in a foreign jail. With no other options, Satya must transform into a hero and attempt the unthinkable: break him out of prison and bring him to safety.

Jigra review:

Bollywood films are most likely to be out of reality, which are not often seen. The sister fight for her brother is a very relatable and emotional connection to the viewers. The never before action sequences and a vulnerable characterization has grabbed the limelight. Alia Bhatt is undoubtedly a great actor and is the best pick for this role. As she said, The new motherhood helped her do the role much better than before.

The screenplay was better but fans have expected a little more engaging scenes. Alia Bhatt and Rahul’s scenes are truly great and Alia Bhatt with Vedang portrays an emotional bond which kept audience connected with the story. The songs of this film attracted the audience well. And songs played their part in making the story more engaging.

Positives:

Alia Bhatt Action Sequences
Vedang Raina Singing
Engaging storyline
Music

Negatives:

Unwanted lengthy scenes
Screenplay

Rating: 3/5
