Vishwambhara updates : Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much awaited fantasy film Vishwambhara gearned quite a buzz ever since it’s announcement. Now it is speculated that Daggubati Venkatesh is joning the film shoot soon.
A source revealed that Daggubati Venkatesh was casted to play an vital role in the Chiranjeevi’s upcoming fantasy thriller, which is yet to be confirmed by the actor and filmmakers.
Recent photos of Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi with cast of Vishwambhara have gone viral. The images capture Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Ravipudi all smiles, alongside star actresses Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
The fantasy film is written and directed by Mallidi Vassishta and produced by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy Pramod Uppalapati and Vikram Reddy under the banner UV Creations. It is made with an estimated budget of Rs 100 crores.
A source close to the producers, reported that approximately 70% of the film will heavily incorporate visual effects, in order to showcase spiritual elements. The overseas rights were purchased and acquired by film distributor Sarigama Cinemas for a price of ₹18 crore.
The film is set to hit sliver screen on early 2025, i.e on 10 January 2025 Coincidentally on auspicious Vaikuntha Ekadashi and Paush Putrada Ekadashi.

Chiranjeevi as Vishwambhara “Vishwa”, Daggubati Venkatesh, Trisha Krishnan, Meenakshi Chaudhary , Kunal Kapoor, Ashika Ranganath , Surbhi Puranik, Isha Chawla and Subhalekha Sudhakar.
It was initially rumored that the film would be a sequel to the 1990 fantasy film, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, also starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. Later director Vassishta clarified that Vishwambhara was a new story and was unrelated to Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster starrer Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.
At Ramoji Film City, the action block was shot in a constructed forest environment. The fighting sequence happens while amidst water, mud and dust which is reportedly the highlight of the film.
