In a recent conversation with a media, Rajkummar Rao lauded Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, noting that both actors are greater stars and totally deserved of their fame.
In the interview ,When asked about his contemporaries, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh work, Rao acknowledged that ‘they are bigger stars and they deserve where they are’. Rao also said, “I don’t see stardom as a metric, but I also can’t deny that it exists”, referring to them as “damn good actors.”
Rajkummar Rao was then questioned about why he referred to them as stars if he doesn’t view stardom as a measure of success. In response, Rajkummar stated that while he doesn’t see stardom as a metric, he cannot deny its existence.
Rao is regarded as one of the most brilliant actors of his generation. Hw was last seen in Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial comedy film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring alongside Animal actress Triptii Dimri as the titular couple in pursuit of their missing sex tape.
The comedy flick was theatrically released on 11 October 2024 to positive reviews and running successfully in the theaters.
