He said, “A moment of pride, as we celebrate the winners of the 69th National Film Awards. A Clean Sweep by my dear and near.” He went ahead and mentioned RRR’s team, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravaani, Prem Rakshith, Kaala Bhairava, Srinivas Mohan, King Soloman, DVV Entertainment, DVV Danayya, Vaishnav Tej, Bucchi Babu Sana, Pushpa’s team, Allu Arjun, and Alia Bhatt. He thanked everyone for making Indian Cinema proud.
Ram Charan is one of the backbone reasons for making Tollywood movies global. RRR, the movie that released on almost every continent in this world, made him the charm of the world. RRR won 6 National Awards in a single sitting which is phenomenal. Alia Bhatt was also a part of the movie, so two of her movies won this year.

Starting his journey with Chirutha in 2007, he has been nominated 13 times and has won 11 times out of them, which proves the excellency of his work.
