Gadar 2 Box Office Collection
In no time, Utkarsh Sharma got the delayed reimbursement of his struggles with the movie Gadar 2. His role in the first instalment Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was crucial too, but as a child actor, he didn’t get recognized. As a grown man in Gadar 2 playing Charanjeet Singh, he made an identity of his own and the movie overall is doing exceptionally well at the box office.
The on-screen Jeete shared on his social media about Gadar 2: The Katha continues’ newly achieved milestone. It collected 515.03 crores in just one month’s time. Take a look:
In an interview, Anil Sharma, the director of the complete Gadar Franchise, was asked why he cast his own son as Jeete for the film. He had revealed that because of the film’s location and schedule, no parent was ready to send their child in for the role. Then Anil Sharma’s wife suggested to take Utkarsh for the role, since that would be easy. And before we knew, it changed Utkarsh’s life forever.
For now, there’s no news about his upcoming movies.
Sunny Deol, the lead actor for Gadar 2 was asked in a live interaction about Gadar 2’s making. He admitted, “Initially, I was hesitant to go ahead with the idea of making a second part, because I didn’t want the sequel to take away the essence and quality of the first part. Whenever anyone would ask me, I’d immediately reject it. But now, I feel like I did the right thing by saying yes.”
