The director talking about Nawaz said Gangs of Wasseypur was like an intuition. I had the feeling that Nawazuddin Siddiqui would really go far. Continuing it went to Richa Chadha. They are both terrific actors with a lot of screen presence.
The director thought they both would go too far after their presence in Gangs of Wasseypur making a difference. People have certain types of beauty but the camera sees people differently and these two have strong screen presence, Gangs Of Wasseypur turned out to be a success and catapulted its cast to fame.
Talking about Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the Kennedy director said, “He’s also an extremely misjudged and misconstrued person. Also because of whatever it is…the world sees you for many things. He is a guy who doesn’t defend himself, he always stays silent. but when he opens up, it makes a difference. He always has a special place in my heart.
Anurag Kashyap was last seen acting in an OTT along side Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It’s a crime drama titled Haddi helmed by debutant Akshat Ajay Sharma and was released on OTT on September 7. The filmmaker will also be seen in Leo soon.
