Tiger 3 which is planning for a major Diwali release has started with advance ticket bookings starting from November 5, Sunday. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starring in this movie is the third installment of the Tiger franchise. The sales for the film reaped through the first day.
On the second day, the film received Rs. 6.48 crores and sold around 22,000 tickets roughly on the second day. While the USA played an important role in the success of box office records of films Jailer, Pathaan, and Jawan, Tiger 3 clocked about $1.1 million on its opening day.
452 theatres opted for the movie release and the sales from advance tickets stood at 95 lakhs with only 7490 tickets sold until now. In the next few days, if the movie adds more screens and will catch up to Pathaan’s advanced sales, then Tiger 3 can make it to the top-grossing films of the year.
Tiger 3 is a part of Yashraj Spy Universe curated by filmmaker Aditya Chopra. The makers have also unveiled the cameo appearances of Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from the part of Spyverse. The film is slated to release on November 12.
