Kang Dynasty also called as Kang War, is a 16-part comic book storyline which ran through Avengers written by Kurt Busiek. Now, the makers of Avenger: The Kang Dynasty tapped Michael Waldron to write the screenplay.
Michael Waldron, who has already been set to write Avengers: Secret Wars, followed by Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, will write both sequels. Waldron is known for crafting the series Loki, running it alongside Eric Martin and Kate Herron for season 1.
Michael Waldron is also known for cranking up his creativity in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness and other projects. He will be responsible for concluding the stretch-penned sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, known as the Multiverse Saga of the interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Kang Dynasty is scheduled to open in theatres on May 1, 2026, and will be followed by The Avengers : Secret Wars on May 7, 2027. The directors for both films have yet to be confirmed, but the studio’s CEO, Destin Daniel Cretton, will produce the films.
