Devara Box Office Day 1
Though the film received mixed reviews from the audience, Devara opened its box office collections with a good start. On its first day, Jr NTR and Janhvi Starrer collected a total of ₹77 crore. Most of the collections are from Telugu states which minted over ₹68.6 crore. Following the Telugu states, the Hindi version of devara has collected around ₹7 crore. The Tamil version of the Jr NTR starrer collected around ₹80 lakhs. Finally, Kannada and Malayalam versions of the film collected 30 lakhs each. The massive Devara collections proved a strong Jr NTR fan base across India.
Devara Review
The first half of the film has the introduction to the characters and makers tried to keep the roles relatable to viewers. As there is another part, it is important for the audience to know the characters well enough. The fight scenes were electrifying and engaging. But, The Role of Janhvi Kapoor has no scope in the film, the story can go forward anyway with or without her. All there was in the movie was a glamour show of Janhvi Kapoor.
The Second half of the film is not so engaging. The scenes were elaborated and elongated beyond the limit which makes viewers lose interest. The songs by Anirudh are good and attractive in the film. The storyline can be more stronger and engaging. The second part is not so engaging. The Global Star’s exceptional performance and Janhvi Kapoor’s glamour show failed to grab audience and keep them engaging .
