Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil Box Office Collection Day 4

The film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil has made a remarkable entry at the box office, securing an impressive ₹ 12.75 crore net within India in its initial three days. The family-centric film, headlined by the dynamic duo of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph, has swiftly gained the label of a super hit. Following its first weekend, the movie’s global revenue soared past Rs. 42 crore, signaling its robust appeal.

Stellar Weekend Box Office

The movie’s performance on its first Sunday was nothing short of spectacular, with a worldwide box office collection exceeding Rs. 10 crore on that day alone. This surge has propelled the total global earnings of the Vipin Das-helmed project beyond the Rs. 42 crore threshold. The film’s exceptional performance is not limited to Kerala but extends to international markets, particularly in the UAE and GCC regions.

On the Verge of a Milestone

As of its first Monday in theaters, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil stands on the cusp of surpassing the Rs. 50-crore mark globally. The absence of significant competition at the box office has played to the film’s advantage. However, industry analysts anticipate that the movie will continue to draw audiences in the coming weekends, even with the release of Mammootty’s much-awaited film Turbo on May 23, 2024.

Record-Breaking Success

Should the current trend persist, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is poised to join the elite Rs. 75-crore club of Malayalam cinema by the week’s end. Moreover, there’s a strong possibility that it could breach the Rs. 100-crore mark by the conclusion of its second week in theaters. If this occurs, Prithviraj Sukumaran will set a new precedent as the first Malayalam actor to deliver two consecutive films that each gross over Rs. 100 crore within the same calendar year.

In “Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,” the ensemble cast includes prominent actors such as Prithviraj Sukumaran as Anand and Basil Joseph as Vinu. They are accompanied by Nikhila Vimal, Anaswara Rajan as Anjali, and Yogi Babu, alongside Jagadish, Baiju Santhosh, Irshad, Rekha, Kudassanad Kanakam, Siju Sunny, Akhil Kavaliyoor, Ramesh Kottayam, Manoj K. U., and P. P. Kunhikrishnan.
