Jatt and Juliet 3 Blockbuster Box Office Collections

Actor Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa’s romantic-comedy ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ premiered in theaters on June 27, coinciding with the release of Nag Ashwin’s highly anticipated ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

Despite competing with ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ at the box office, ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ has managed to perform well, attracting a significant audience. Within just four days of its release, the Punjabi drama amassed Rs 16.75 crore.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ witnessed substantial footfall in theaters on Sunday, June 30, generating Rs 5.50 crore. The film recorded 67.28 percent occupancy in Punjab, with notable contributions from several cities.

It commenced its box office journey with Rs 3.5 crore on Thursday (June 27), making it the second-highest opener in Punjabi cinema, following Gippy Grewal’s ‘Carry on Jatta 3’, which earned Rs 4.55 crore on its first day in 2023.

The makers of ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ reported that the film’s worldwide collection reached Rs 34.91 crore after three days, with Rs 21.16 crore coming from the international market. The Punjabi romantic comedy franchise also made it into North America’s top 10 weekend grossers, alongside ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, by earning $1.8 million over the three-day weekend, bringing its North American box office total to $1.9 million.

The box office performance of ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ across different territories is as follows:

The film garnered Rs. 14.70 crore, reflecting its strong regional appeal and solid fanbase. Contributions from other parts of India amounted to Rs. 4.95 crore, indicating a broader national interest. The cumulative box office collection within India stood at Rs. 19.65 crore.

The film achieved significant success in Canada, earning USD 1,240,000. In Australia, it collected USD 580,000, showcasing its popularity in the region. The movie garnered USD 350,000 in the UK, appealing to the Punjabi diaspora there. US box office contribution was USD 320,000, demonstrating its reach among North American audiences.

The film earned USD 200,000 in Pakistan, reflecting cross-border appeal. In New Zealand, the box office collection was USD 125,000. The movie earned USD 135,000 across various European countries. Contributions from other regions amounted to USD 100,000. The total overseas collection was USD 3,050,000 (Rs. 25.50 crore).

Worldwide Total: Combining domestic and international earnings, the worldwide box office collection of the film reached Rs. 45.15 crore.

Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ features Diljit Dosanjh as a police officer who finds himself drawn to his superior, played by Neeru Bajwa. This installment comes a decade after the second film in the series, which was released in 2013.
