Directed by critically acclaimed filmaker Vasan Bala Jigra collected Rs 4.25 crore on its first day. Jigra marks Alia Bhatt’s first theatrical release of 2024 and Her second film into production under Eternal Sunshine Productions.
Jigra Day 1 Box Office: Though the film released on festival season the numbers dose not reflect well. With Intruging plot star casting the film only made 4.25 crores on its first day. The overall occupancy of Jigra tellugu managed to get 50,000 among 4.25crore. the over all occupancy of Jigra was 20.13% for Hindi and 20.17% for Telugu.

“Jigra’s” opening day collection positions it among the lower openers for Alia Bhatt, compared to her 2014 film “Highway,” which earned Rs 3.4 crore on its debut. Some regions showed zero occupancy during morning shows, indicating a slow start in certain areas.
Future Prospects
Though jigra had decent start, there’s high competition from significant Releases. On the same day of Jigra, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video released on the same day giving tough competition with star cast of RajKumar rao and Triptri Dimri. On the other hand rajinikanth’s vettaiyan also released on 10th of october 2024.
