Mr Bachchan Advance Booking and Box Office Target

Mass Raja Ravi Teja is making a comeback with the highly anticipated action entertainer, Mr Bachchan. Which is set to hit screens worldwide on August 15. This film, directed by Harish Shankar. It is a remake of the popular Bollywood film Raid and is inspired by real-life events.

Mr Bachchan marks Ravi Teja’s third collaboration with director Harish Shankar, following their successful ventures Mirapakay and Shock. The movie also introduces debutante Bhagyashri Borse in a significant role. Mr Bachchan will face stiff competition at the box office as it releases alongside Puri Jagannadh and Ram Pothineni’s Double iSmart.

Mr Bachchan Box Office Expectations & Theatrical Deal

Ravi Teja’s recent releases, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Eagle, did not fare well commercially. However, Mr Bachchan has managed to secure a promising theatrical deal. The film’s worldwide business has touched Rs 31 Crore, and it needs to earn Rs 32 Crore to be considered a box office hit. Notably, the theatrical rights for the Nizam and Andhra regions were sold for Rs 23 Crore, with Ceded rights fetching Rs 4 Crore and overseas rights Rs 2 Crore. Collectively, the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana rights amounted to Rs 27 Crore. Additionally, Mr Bachchan has already made a mark internationally, collecting $17,274 from 53 locations in North America.

Digital Streaming Rights Secured

In addition to its theatrical success, Mr Bachchan has secured a significant digital streaming deal. Reports suggest that OTT giant Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for the film. After its theatrical run and the agreed-upon release period, Mr Bachchan will begin streaming on Netflix. This move reflects the film’s strong anticipated performance and the growing trend of major films finding lucrative digital platforms.

Mr Bachchan features a robust ensemble cast led by Ravi Teja, known for his mass appeal and dynamic performances. The film also stars Abhimanyu Singh, Bhagyashri Borse, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Kishore Raju Vasistha, among others, each playing crucial roles in the storyline.
