After Mahesh And Pawan, Now It’s Balayya

Re-release trend is going in full swing in Tollywood. With Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri re-release creating sensation at box-office, many films of top heros started re-releasing on occasion of their birthdays.

Though Chiranjeevi’s Gharana Mogudu didn’t create much impact, Pawan Kalyan’s Thammudu and Jalsa recreated magic once again on silver screens.

After Mahesh and Pawan, now Balayya is all set to create wonders with a re-release at box-office. As per the latest buzz, his intensified action drama Chennakesava Reddy is all set to hit the screens soon.

Directed by the mass director VV Vinayak, the faction film was released in 2002 and bagged good response mainly for excellent music and Balakrishna’s mass avatar. On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, fans of Balayya planned special screenings of the film in the USA on September 24 and 25.

Reportedly, 30 theaters have already been confirmed and more will be added soon for the film. Even arrangements for the special shows of this film in Telugu states as well as in Chennai and other places are underway.

With such mass film re-releasing, we have to wait and see what type of euphoria it will create. Balakrishna played a dual role in this movie, while Shriya Saran and Tabu played love interests of two Balakrishna’s. Paruchuri Brothers’ dialogues and Mani Sharma’s fabulous music are said to be main reasons for the film’s success.
