Alia Bhatt’s emotional take onJigra:

During a conversation, Anmol Jamwal said, ‘ I sent the rough script to karan for a feedback and few hours later, he texted me saying ‘I already sent the text to Alia’ and I was upset with that. I wanted to do a spell check and write powerful hero entry scenes and all. But nothing happened, He just sent it to her’. To this Alia further said, ” I was reading the script and I was totally in love with the idea of the film. I am a new mom, I always wanted to see this love on screen, a bond fighting for her love. A woman fighting on screen without having an exclaimation of ‘Oh! Its woman fighting’.

Alia explained her statement saying, ‘ When I was reading, I could relate to it. The protective woman thing. The scenes how they are relatable while watching on screen, I could relate to it on the paper too. I knew I was going to do the film while I was reading the script’.

Vedang praised alia for being so supportive on screen and off screen too. He said ‘ If its not Alia Bhatt and Anmol, I would have just been quite, just learning things and not putting my ideas out. They both made me feel more important than I actually am on the sets. Even with Alia, I was nervous before the first shot and later I realised Its not tough to work with her. I mean, She made it very easy for me. She always made sure I am okay and I am comfortable as I am just two films old and they are all experienced.’
