Ananya Panday was questioned recently by Humans of Bombay about her idea of success and how it has changed over time, given that she has always associated it strongly with celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchan family. The actress acknowledged in her reply that the names cited above represent success.

She recalled, “Seeing Shah Rukh Khan, that was what I was like, okay, this is what it is like to be an actor stand in front of your house and millions of people just come and wait for you, but he is rare, and he is one of a kind.” The actress said that having grown up around artists, she understood the need to balance one’s personal and professional lives.

She further cited King Khan’s example, stating that despite being such a celebrated star, he has been “amazing” and taking care of his kids, including them. The actress noted that one can be immensely successful with people running behind them, but coming back to a “sorted, healthy, balanced personal life” is what comprises success.

Regarding her career, Ananya and Vihaan Samat are presently preparing for the publication of Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL. Arya A. Menon and Nikhil Dwivedi are the film’s producers. Following Call Me Bae, this film is Ananya and Vihaan’s second joint venture. October 4, 2024, is the scheduled release date of CTRL on Netflix.
