Ayan Mukerji’s fabulous asthra world “Brahmastra ” released on September 9th bagged mixed reviews. However, the film is doing exceptionally well at Box-office. It is having a good run at the box office even 10 days after its release.
If the reports are something to go by, this Bollywood film crossed the 200-crore mark at the box office just in 10 days of its run. Interestingly, the film is still holding a lot of theatres and is expected to continue its dream run in theatres as there are no big releases in Bollywood as well as in Tollywood until September 30.
This Ranbir Kapoor starrer earned Rs. 75 crores worldwide on its first day itself. Surprising thing is that even on the 10th day, the film bagged collections around Rs. 16.25 to 17.25 crores, taking the total collections to over Rs. 210 crores.
However, as the film is made on a very high-budget, it has to earn still more to get a break even and to end up as a successful venture for producers and other financial parties involved in it.
Brahmastra is a fantasy action flick helmed by Ayan Mukherjee and bankrolled by Karan Johar. This film is expected to be made in three parts and the first part released now is titled, Shiva. The film stars Alia Bhatt in the lead actress role and Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The filming of the sequel is expected to begin in 2023.
