When filming violent scenes for the Bollywood movie “Om Shanti Om,” acclaimed actress Deepika Padukone encountered an unexpected difficulty. She had a huge crush on her co-star Arjun Rampal, it turned out, which made it hard for her to concentrate on her role. Deepika’s affection for Arjun was so immense that whenever they had to film intense or action-packed sequences, she found herself unable to take her eyes off him.
Instead of channeling her energy into portraying her character, she would often catch herself blushing and stealing glances at Arjun. Deepika was unable to fully immerse herself in the violent scenes because of this delightful diversion. The actress admitted that she was taken in by Arjun’s charisma and that it was difficult for her to remain composed in those situations.
Despite the obstacle, Deepika was still able to provide an outstanding performance in “Om Shanti Om.” Her and Arjun’s on-screen chemistry was evident, and their alluring presence together made an impression on viewers.
