Fahadh Faasil is going to collabrate with Romancham director

Indian actor and producer Fahadh Faasil primarily works in Malayalam cinema, however, he has made a few appearances in Tamil and Telugu films as well. He has appeared in over 50 films and won numerous accolades, including a National Film Award. Now he is going to collab with Jithu Madhavan. The next movie from Romancham filmmaker Jithu Madhavan features Fahadh Faasil. The project was jointly backed by Anwar Rasheed and Nazriya Nazim and was inaugurated today in Bangalore. This planned movie, marketed as a campus-based entertainer, will include Sameer Thahir as the director of photography and Sushin Shyam as the composer. Although the movie’s title is rumored to be Avesham, the producers have not yet made an official announcement.

Jithu, who began his career in film as John Paul George’s assistant on the projects Guppy and Ambili, made his debut as a filmmaker with the horror-comedy Romancham. The movie, whose producers are John and Sushin, is currently having a hugely successful run in theatres. The movie finally hit theatres on February 3 after numerous delays, and it was met with a raucous reception as it was well-liked by the young audience. It is reportedly one of the most successful Malayalam films in recent memory despite having a small budget.

Even before Romancham came out, Jithu reportedly signed Fahadh Faasil for his follow-up movie. When the actor will start shooting for the film is still undisclosed. He has a few other projects in the works but is currently preoccupied with the filming of Pushpa: The Rule. His subsequent Malayalam film, Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum, was directed by Akhil Sathyan. The multilingual movie Dhoomam and Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan are also upcoming for him. His other announced projects are editor Noufal Abdullah’s debut as a director and Sudheesh Sankar’s Hanuman Gear.
