Gulshan Devaiah throws a ‘Tammannah’ pun at Vijay Verma on the trailer launch of Dahaad

Vijay Varma, known as ‘Hamza’ after his ‘abusive husband’ role in Darlings with Alia Bhatt has recently catapulted to the top in terms of popularity. Nevertheless, let’s not forget this super-talented actor‘s previous movies that didn’t give him the stardom he deserved. Remember Moeen Gully Boy and Ankit from Pink? Yes, that’s Vijay Varma for you. Underrated enough?

On April 20, Vijay uploaded a poster of his upcoming series on Amazon Prime, ‘Dahad’ alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Gulshan Devaiah, created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. Dahad starts with the hunt for one missing girl, dismally touching the count of 27. That’s when Sonakshi Sinha as Anjali Bhaati enters the ballgame to pin the predator to the ground.

Keeping the genre aside, the crew used the trailer launch as a way to tease Vijay about his rumored girlfriend, Tammannah Bhatia – the ‘Taki Taki’ girl with Ajay Devgn from Himmatwala.

Gulshan Devaiah commented on Vijay Varma’s post, making good use of puns and getting away with his tongue-in-cheek mischief. Here’s what he said:

Vijay Varma dodged Gulshan’s mention of Tammannah, suspense dripping from his reply. “Ek tarfa pyaar bhi pyaar hi hota hai Gullu” (even one-sided love is considered love, Gullu) with a palm-on-the-mouth-smiling emoji.

Does Vijay have a crush on Tammannah? Is this a one-sided love story? Are they dating? Or is it nothing? The fans have now reached peaks of curiosity to find out.
