Janhvi revealed that her singing teacher was traumatised by her

1. The Choir Debacle: Janhvi admitted that she was terrible at singing during her school days. She recalled teachers requesting her microphone to be switched off during choir performances. Her lack of vocal prowess left her feeling embarrassed and self-conscious. She also revealed that she was placed in the group due to nepotism. But they never encouraged me to sing. They purposefully switched the mike off.

2. The Traumatized Teacher: Interestingly, Janhvi’s father insisted on hiring a singing teacher for her. The teacher, perhaps expecting a budding talent, was in for a surprise. Janhvi’s singing left her traumatized, and she reportedly told Boney Kapoor, “Kuch logon ke liye nahi hota hai. Chod dijiye na” (“Some people are not meant for this. Let it go”). Janhvi never saw that teacher again.

In retrospect, Janhvi Kapoor’s honesty about her limitations and the impact it had on her teacher highlights the vulnerability that comes with pursuing one’s passion. Despite her struggles, Janhvi has carved her own path in the entertainment industry, proving that sometimes, even the most unexpected talents can find their way to success.

Her upcoming film ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is filled with alot of emotions and situations. The roller coaster of emotions is all set to hit the screens on 31st of May, 2024. Janhvi has done alot of training more than she did for Gunjan Saxena just to keep story alive. Both the lead actors have put their heart and soul in the film.
