Late actress Sridevi is one of the Legendary actresses in the Industry who made a mark for herself in many Industries. This actress married a Bollywood Producer Boney Kapoor and had two kids named Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Both the daughters are now made their entry to Bollywood and has been doing well. Late actress Sridevi wanted Khushi to become an actress, not Janhvi.
Entry of Daughters:
Janhvi Kapoor started her career with a film called ‘Dhadak’ and got a good recognition. Later that, Janhvi’s unique script selections have made her more popular and appreciated. She has been part of many challenging films like Mili, Gunjan Saxena, Mr and Mrs Mahi etc. Her commitment towards her work got a great appreciation. For Gunjan Saxena and Mr and Mrs Mahi, Janhvi had to go through intense physical training and also got many injuries but yet, she didn’t give up and made the film. Her latest film Mr and Mrs Mahi has become a big hit.
Now, After Bollywood Janhvi is all set to enter Tollywood with Jr NTR’s upcoming most anticipated film Devara. After RRR’s success, A film with Jr. NTR is a dream to many actors as the actor is busy with alot of big projects. But, Janhvi also has a line up of three films in Tollywood.
Khushi Kapoor made her debut along with many other star kids under the direction of Zoya Akhtar in the musical film ‘Archies’. Though the film and the star kids got a lot of hate and negativity for lacking talent, Khushi has got another films offers too.
Late actress Sridevi:
In many interviews, Janhvi mentioned that her mother, Late actress Sridevi never wanted her to be an actress as she knows how tough it is to be an actress. Janhvi said, ‘She always used to brainwash me to deviate me from this path. And she wanted me to become a doctor. But that didn’t work for me.’ And she also revealed that Sridevi wanted Khushi to become an actress.
Elaborating the statement, Janhvi said, ‘ Mom was okay with Khushi being an actress as Khushi has always been an independent and tough child. And I was innocent and naive, so She didn’t want me to become an actress’.
