Bollywood actress, Amrita Rao who acted in the Telugu film Athidi featuring Mahesh Babu tied the knot with RJ Anmol in a secret ceremony in 2014.
However, most people thought their marriage happened on May 15, 2016.
Now almost after these many years, the couple had revealed that they had not tied the knot on May 15, 2016, but rather way back in 2014.
Amrita and Anmol also shared a few interesting details about their wedding in their recent vlog on YouTube. They shared their wedding pictures, which they had seen at Iskcon Temple, nine years ago. The most shocking part is that Amrita and Anmol revealed that they had spent only ₹1.5 lakhs on their wedding, which included their outfits, venue, and other expenses.
Amrita said, ” I wanted to wear a traditional outfit. My saree cost was ₹3000… I didn’t want to wear designer clothes… I wore artificial jewelry. My mangal sutra was only ₹18,000. We have always believed that marriage is love. Money is not a showpiece. We only wanted our family and close friends to be at our wedding… We didn’t spend much on the wedding and we enjoyed it.”
