Earlier, Buchi Babu Sana narrated an interesting script to Jr NTR who wanted to do the film. Billed to be a sports drama, the film did not take off, for many reasons. However, after a long wait, Buchi Babu decided to approach Ram Charan and eventually, the project took off.
The rumors say that the story narrated to both the actors is the same but in fact, there is no clarity on the same. The reports say that there is actually no truth in the rumors. Buchi Babu reportedly had two different ideas that he pitched to the actors.
