Even while she may seem fortunate to be where she is now, it took more than a chance for her to get to the top of the acting profession in both Bollywood and Hollywood. The actress, who just won the Miss India title, compared her adolescent self to herself when she was nine years old in a recent Instagram post.

The international sensation released a two-image collage. The monochromatic photo dates back to when she was nine years old. Her mother Madhu Chopra had given her boy-cut hairstyles since they were easy to style for school. Priyanka Chopra Jonas appears unrecognizable in the first photo, but she looks lovely in the second, taken in 2000 when she was just 17 years old and had just won the Miss India title.
She discussed how a girl’s appearance might alter due to puberty and grooming in the captions. She added in her writing, “Warning: Don’t troll my 9-year-old self. So wild to think about what puberty and grooming can do to a girl. On the left is me in my awkward pre-teen era with a “Boy cut” hairstyle so it wouldn’t be cumbersome at school.
