KS Rama Rao was a popular producer in Tollywood who once made memorable films with Megastar Chiranjeevi. He bankrolled many Chiru films under his creative commercial banner. The Challenge, Abhilasha, Rakshasudu, Maranamridangam, and Stuartupuram Police Station are some of the Chiru films produced by Chiruto Rama Rao. Except for Stuartupuram Police Station, all of the films mentioned bagged super hits. Those films also raised the fame of Chiranjeevi. Apart from Chiru movies, Rama Rao also produced classic movies like Swarnakamalam and Chanti with Venky.
But in the last two decades, Rama Rao’s fame has decreased as some of his produced films turned out to be disasters at the box office. When he was in a financial crisis because of back-to-back flops, it was heard that he wanted to make a film with Ram Charan. But when he did not get along with Charan immediately, Chiru offered him a film.
For Bhola Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh, Chiru also roped in Rama Rao as a producer along with Anil Sunkara. Even when a poster was released in April, the name of the Creative Commercials banner was on it. But later on, the name of the banner was dropped from the promos.
Now the name of RamaBrahmam Sunkara appears as the producer. AK Entertainment seems to be producing this film solo. Meanwhile, it is not understood why Rama Rao withdrew from this project. Anil recently took a big hit with the movie Agent. So, it is speculated that Rama Rao had to give up on the movie as Anil asked him to do so. But whatever the reason is, It is surprising that this producer who gave super hits to Chiru has withdrawn from Chiru cinema now.
