Randeep Hooda made his debut with the film D in 2005. He got great appreciation for his performances in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Jannat 2, Jism 2, Heroine, Murder 3, Highway, Kick, Sultan, Baaghi 2, and Love Aaj Kal. He also made biopics which are Rang Rasiya, Main Aur Charles, and Sarbjit. The actor recently made a statement which grabbed the attention of netizens. Randeep Hooda said boycott culture is social media hoaxes.

Recently in front of the media, he remembers that he was canceled multiple times, but it didn’t really bother him. The actor went on to characterize boycott culture as the result of social media hoaxes and nothing more.

Randeep Hooda doesn’t care about the rumors on social media and isn’t troubled by any of the negativity that surrounds him. The Highway actor was recently asked about the effect of boycott culture on movie releases during his speech at the India Today Mind Rocks 2024 Youth Summit. Hooda responded that any level of popularity is excellent for those in the entertainment industry.

Randeep Hooda said

He quoted to the media, But that should not also be a case of just creating sensationalism. Boycott culture is a social media hoax. If you see a boycott for a film on social media, that doesn’t necessarily mean people are not going to watch it.”

“It has nothing to do with this boycott culture. I don’t care about it at all. I have been canceled many times. I am here, bro,” he added further.

The actor was recently seen in the film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.’ The director of the movie is himself. He made his directoral debut with this film. It is also co-written and co-produced by Randeep Hooda. The movie was released on March 22, 2024. Though the movie was a box office failure, the actor received praise for his performances.
